The Xtra Options Programme provides Year 10 learners in Warrington with opportunities to access ‘Vocational’ subjects which may not necessarily be available to study within their home school.
You may access the Xtra Options Programme for one day a week out of your usual weekly timetable. Each course under the Xtra Option Programme is fully accredited, which means that you are able to achieve a qualification from a chosen course of study. If you choose to study a Construction Xtra Option you would have an opportunity to achieve a City & Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Construction Skills, which is a recognised qualification within the constuction industry.
